A massive thank you to everyone who helped out at the last action morning in June 2024 replenishing the play bark, weeding and general tidy up. We would like to extend our thanks to Barry Taylor for once again collecting the bark from the supplier and to Mildenhall Building Supplies for lending us their mini digger & dumper along with a driver saving valuable time and effort.
We are planning a long awaited action morning on Saturday 9th May 2026 as the play bark needs a top
up and general tidying up around the play park and wider site. All help will be very much appreciated even if you can only spare half an hour it will be a huge help. Someone is usually about from 9am but timings to be confirmed
West Row Parish Council are continuing their warm room events once a month (usually the last Friday) to assist residents with the cost of living and their personal wellbeing. A subsidised Fish & Chip lunch with free tea / coffee and cake is available. Also there is a free option of soup and rolls with a quiz and music for entertainment. Pre-booking required. We held our first Christmas Bazaar on 6th December raising just shy of £1,100 - so thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes in the set up ahead of and running the day and of course to our local folk who took time out to attend.
We once again express our thanks to West Row Parish Council who generously donated £440 raised from donations taken during Santa's visit in his Sleigh. Along with the funds raised from the Family Fun day earlier in the year this will go towards the running costs of the children's play park.

Thank you to all involved in making the Family Fun Day on Saturday 13th September another success.
Despite the downpour in the afternoon this event helped to raise £1,178. Additional grant funding from West Row Parish Council and West Suffolk County Council this brought the overall total to £2428

Once again we were pleased to host the Mildenhall Cycling Mini-Fest on Sunday 24th August 2025, which included the Fenland Flyer Gravel Time-Trial, Grass-Track racing and Cyclists' Car-Boot sale. Follow this link for more details about this event.
