Thanks to generous grant funding in conjunction with Suffolk County Council and the Plug-In Suffolk initiative we have been able to install electric vehicle charging points in our car park.
West Row Village Hall now has 4 Type 2 (7kW) charging points for public use.
The Plug In Suffolk project aims to simplify the procedure of charging an electric car in this area and make Suffolk Zero Emission Vehicle ready.
Compatible with any Type 2 connector equipped vehicle .
More recently 2 new units were installed by Connected Kerb who are now responsible for the four charge points on our site.
To use the chargers simply download the Connected Kerb app, scan the QR code once on site (or enter the ID manually) and finally hit 'start charging'. You can also register your RFID card on the app and you can then use this to initiate a charge, but top-ups need to be added in app.
Please visit their website for further information, FAQ's including videos to help get set up and links to download the app on your mobile device

Plug in Suffolk is installing on-street public chargepoints and community charging hubs, so people without a driveway or garage can charge electric vehicles reliably, easily, and close to their homes.
